Kevin Reed was born and raised in West Texas, and his connection to architecture and design began long before it became his career. From a young age, he was drawn to the way thoughtful design could shape not only a home or building, but the character of an entire community.

That passion led Kevin to the Texas Tech University School of Architecture, where he earned his degree in architecture in 2004. Soon after, he founded Clearview Custom Homes with a vision to bring a more design-driven, forward-thinking approach to building in West Texas.

Over the past two decades, Kevin’s work has grown far beyond custom homes. As Lubbock has expanded south, he has played a significant role in helping shape that growth through residential communities, commercial developments, office spaces and investment properties. His real estate and development portfolio extends beyond Lubbock, with projects and properties throughout West Texas and other Texas markets, including Midland, San Angelo and the Dallas area. His involvement has also extended to notable developments such as Red Feather Golf and Social Club, reflecting a career built around recognizing opportunities and helping bring ambitious ideas to life.

Today, Clearview is a full-service design-build firm capable of taking a project from its earliest idea to its final detail. Whether the starting point is a sketch on a dinner napkin, a piece of undeveloped land or a vision for something that has never been done before, Kevin brings together architecture, construction, development and an instinct for what comes next.

Known for his eye for design, appreciation for curb appeal and ability to anticipate evolving trends, Kevin approaches each project with the same philosophy that has guided Clearview from the beginning: create spaces that are distinctive, intentional and built to stand the test of time.
